Who God Is. And Who He Says You Are.

You are not forsaken. You are sought out.
Before the weight of your situation can speak another word over you, let the Word of God speak first. There is a name above every name that your circumstances have called you. Above every label the enemy has pinned to your chest. Above the whisper that says you are too far gone, too broken, too forgotten. And that name belongs to a God who has never once been defeated.
Who He Is
He is Wonderful Counselor: the One who knows the end from the beginning, who sees what you cannot see and holds what you cannot carry.
“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” — Isaiah 9:6
He is Everlasting Father: not the kind who grows tired or turns away, but the kind who runs toward you while you are still a long way off.
He is Prince of Peace: not peace the world gives, the fragile kind that shatters under pressure, but a peace that surpasses every human explanation, standing guard over your heart in the middle of the storm.
He is the Lord Almighty, the Lord of hosts. The armies of heaven move at His command. Every force in existence bows to His authority. He holds the oceans in the hollow of His hand and counts the stars by name.
“Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.” — Psalm 24:8
He has never lost a battle. Not one. Pharaoh's army: swallowed by the sea. Goliath: felled by a stone in the hand of a shepherd boy. The grave itself: emptied on the third day. Every enemy He has ever faced has met the same end: defeat at the feet of a God who cannot be overcome.
Who He Says You Are
And this God, the undefeated, the all-knowing, the Everlasting Father, has spoken words over you. Not words of condemnation. Not words that rehearse your failures. Words of identity. Words of authority. Words of destiny.
“The Lord will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the Lord your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom.” — Deuteronomy 28:13
That is not a suggestion. That is a declaration from the mouth of the Lord Almighty over your life. The pressure you are feeling right now does not get the final word on who you are or where you are headed.
You are not the tail. You are not the bottom. You are not defined by what you have been through. You are defined by what God has spoken.
“For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds.” — 2 Corinthians 10:4
The weapons you have been given are not human weapons. They do not operate by the rules of what you can see or touch or figure out on your own. They are mighty through God. Mighty enough to pull down every stronghold: every lie, every fear, every structure the enemy has built in your mind that tells you this situation is bigger than your God.
It is not.
What to Do When the Pressure Comes
If you are feeling the weight of life right now, if the pressure is building and the walls feel like they are closing in, here is what scripture says to do: praise.
“Yet you are holy, enthroned on the praises of Israel.” — Psalm 22:3
God is enthroned in your praise. When you lift your voice in worship, you are not pretending the pain is not real. You are declaring that God is bigger than it. You are pulling the enemy off the throne of your situation and putting the Lord of glory back in His rightful place.
Praise before the answer comes. Worship before the breakthrough appears. Watch what He does when you do.
A Declaration Over You
You are not forsaken. You are sought out. The God who never loses is fighting for you. The weapons in your hands are mighty. Lift your voice. He is enthroned in your praise, and He is already at work.
“Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits.” — Psalm 103:2
Forget not what He has done. Let praise rise even in the hard places. He has never been silent over His people, and He will not be silent over you.
Wonderful Counselor. Mighty God. Everlasting Father. Prince of Peace. King of Glory. Lord Almighty. He is all of this. And He is for you. ❤️
